UPDATE 1-23-2021:

On Saturday, January 23rd, 2021, our region (region 10) has moved into Tier 1 mitigations allowing indoor dining with a maximum capacity of 25%.

At this time, The Maple Tree Inn is still in hibernation.
As more details become available, we will
update everyone as soon as possible.
We look forward to serving you again very soon.

Update 11-17-2020:

First and foremost, on behalf of all of us at The Maple Tree Inn, we want to say a heartfelt Thank You to everyone who has supported us for so many years. Your support is the reason we get up in the morning. You have allowed us to live out our dreams and, for that, we are eternally grateful.

A few days ago, we posted that we would need to make some difficult decisions, and it has been an extremely trying
process arriving at them.

Here is our next “pivot”:

As of 11-17-20, The Maple Tree Inn will pause
and go into hibernation for a time.

The reality of the situation for most restaurants is life and death. Since the start of the pandemic, there has been ZERO targeted help for independent restaurants. An entire industry is being decimated and, still, there is no help.

With winter temps rapidly approaching, outdoor dining is not realistic. We, as many other restaurants, cannot survive on take out alone. We are now faced with either “defying” the Governor’s order by opening inside (with the risk of losing our licenses, fines, or forced closures) or going into hibernation for a time. Truthfully, those are the only two avenues available to us.

There are no good options. However, the option with the least amount of loss, for us, is going into hibernation immediately. This will hopefully allow us to not only maintain the long term survival and success of The Maple Tree Inn, but to ensure the livelihoods of our dedicated staff for a long time to come, here in Homewood.

We will be doing some “pop up” events after Thanksgiving. We will be posting on social media and sending out
emails for those events.

We also have some amazing beers that were freshly tapped, and we will be doing a growler sale very soon.

Lastly, a thought:

Please do not judge other businesses without knowing their specific situations. All of us were thrown into this with no warning and have been fighting to survive. In talking to almost every restaurant we know, they are only trying to keep their heads above water and put food on their tables for their employees and themselves the best they can. Please allow for grace and leniency. It means the world.

We hope to serve you very soon in the near future. From the bottom of our hearts, a sincere Thank You, once again.

Stay safe.

Stay Healthy.

Mask Up.

Spread Love Everywhere.
