Top 50 Restaurants Email Header PNG

The Maple Tree Inn has come out of hibernation effective Friday, 4-23-2021. We are so excited to serve you once again.

We have been humbled and are so thankful for all of your words of encouragement and support. For all of those who sent us messages and emails, we have received them however, we did not have any updates until now. Please excuse our “non-response”.

While this post is long, we felt that transparency and a thorough explanation was paramount to a successful relaunch of
The Maple Tree Inn.

After being closed for over 5 months, it is like opening a new restaurant all over again. We have restocked all of our food inventory, carefully curated our beer, wine, and liquor selections, and created a few new dishes and cocktails which will meld very well with our signature items.

Nearly 100% of our staff has returned. You will see the same faces, have the same chefs, bartenders, and management.

We have added a handful of new faces which we are excited to bring on board with us.

Of significant importance, we have invested in our HVAC system, both in the dining room and in the back of the house.  We have installed HEPA filters, UV lights, and other safety measures to ensure sanitary air inside the restaurant. This was a daunting challenge but we felt this was of critical importance moving forward.

We have had the entire restaurant (including the wooden trusses on the ceiling) cleaned and disinfected, along with running air scrubbers constantly.

A few notes on reopening:

1. Reservations are strongly recommended
and can be made on either on
OpenTable or our website at

    2. We will only be seating parties of 6 or less, please.

3. For the initial few weeks, we will NOT be doing takeout of any kind. We have to restart the restaurant and
ensure all safety protocols once again.
We WILL incorporate takeout shortly after reopening.
Our goal is to reopen safely, effectively, and above all,
provide the same level of quality and
service of which you deserve.

4. We allow a 10 min grace period for all reservations.
After 10 min, reservations will be forfeit.

5. We allow 1 hr and 45 minutes for dining.
Please plan accordingly as dining restrictions are still
in effect for Illinois. With very limited capacities,
unfortunately, table times must be held accountable.
We are hoping that restrictions will ease soon.

6. Outdoor seating is 100% weather dependent
and at the sole discretion of management.
With capacity restrictions by the state of Illinois,
and if there is inclement weather, we cannot guarantee
rebooking patio reservations to inside tables.

7. All COVID safety measures will still be in place and active. Masks are required when not actively eating or drinking and when a server approaches your table, please. We will still take your temperature upon arrival. We are still committed to enhanced cleaning procedures. Hand sanitizer will be readily available, everywhere. Our staff will be masked, both in the front and back of house.

8. The owners, and the majority of our management
and staff have been vaccinated. The remaining staff will be vaccinated very shortly. The owners, managers, and
staff did this willingly as we all felt that getting
vaccinated is the best chance we have of a return
to “normal” and to maintain the viability of our industry.

We are overjoyed to be reopening and, with your support,
will be here for many years to come.

A sincere and heartfelt Thank You to everyone who
has supported us and will continue to support us.
You allow us to live out our dreams daily.
For that, we are very grateful.
